1. Michael H.
“Great dog sitters for my anxious little dog. They sent updates and photos daily. My dog was more comfortable the second time around. I will be booking you again in the future! Thank you.”
2. Kathleen K.
“My fur baby Tanner love Kathleen. I love that she sends pics all the time. Keeps me from wondering if he is ok. Clearly he is and he doesn’t miss me when he is with her and Lady. Thank you Kathleen for watching my little one, you are a lifesaver when I need you.”
3. Victoria K.
“Victoria did such a wonderful job with our "nervous Nellie" dog Dillon. She was incredibly communicative, and sent daily updates/pictures during our trip. From the looks of it, he had a blast! My wife and I couldn't help but notice how happy he looked in the pictures, and how (relatively) calm he was when we got him back home.”
4. Richard T.
“Ris was great with my pup Soy. He sent multiple pictures to show me Soy had settled in well. He also allowed me to stay for a bit, prior to leaving Soy, to introduce to him to Ric's very well behaved Golden Retrievers in the backyard. That backyard is a total dream for any dog!”
5. Christine B.
“Christine is the best! She was in constant communication with us in the lead up to and throughout Leo’s stay. She was flexible in working around our often changing pickup schedule and easily accommodated all of our pups needs. Will definitely book with Christine next time we need a dog sitter. Thanks again!”
6. Adam C.
“Sophie had a great stay with Adam. Adam took her on lots of walks to burn off her puppy energy and sent pictures of their adventures. We had Sophie on a pretty restrictive diet to figure out an allergy and Adam was able to help us keep her on it. Wonderful stay and worry free for me.”
7. Karen P.
“Karen and her husband were really good with our dog, Olie, who is a very anxious Boston Terrier and usually scared of strangers. They were very patient with her, and quickly made friends with her. I would highly recommend them. They will send you a lot of status updates and photos, and take good care of your dog.”
8. Sebastian O.
“Sebastian and his wife were wonderful to our small dog Daisy. I could tell she was well-loved during her six-night stay. Sebastian sent us a few pictures throughout her stay which showed she was having a good time. We were thankful that Sebastian is very courteous and quick to respond to any text messages. We would gladly book another stay with Sebastian. Thank you so much!”
9. Audrey M.
“Bo seemed very at ease at Audrey's house. I appreciated the daily updates on him too! Thank you so much - will rebook if you're available the next time”
10. Christy M.
“Christy is GREAT!! Our 2 pups have stayed with her 3 times. She sends a bunch of pics and is really accommodating. We have both a small and big dog and they both love hanging out with her sweet dog Bandit. They will definitely be staying with her again.”
11. Tevon D.
“Tevon was wonderful! He accommodated our last minute need for boarding and was flexible with our pickup time when we were running late getting back in town. He kept us updated and took great care of Pretzel!”
12. Matthew S.
“5 stars all the way for Matthew! He's great with dogs and knew just how to handle our pup's separation anxiety. He even played fetch to keep our dog happy. It's no wonder he's booked solid for months. We can't wait to have our dog stay with him again. Thanks, Matthew, for taking such good care of our dog.”
13. Carly S.
“Carly was very nice and Princess liked her. She actually slept in the living room because Princess was afraid of the steps. Those are the things that are genuinely appreciated”
14. Abena A.
“Abena was easy to communicate with and flexible with our changing needs!”
15. Kaitlin K.
“Kaitlin was very responsive and attentive to Cali during her stay. She sent me pictures every day and my puppy looked like she was having a blast! She came home worn out and as healthy as ever! Thanks, Kaitlin!”

“Virginia did a great job watching Luna. Luna was happy and we got lots of pictures and updates! I did have a little trouble at the meet and greet, the address given was incorrect but it all worked out in the end!”

20. Jason G.
“Our pit bull pup loved his stay with Jason! Jason was very responsive the entire stay and sent us a photo everyday (sometimes multiple!) while we were away. Why do dog owners love Pittsburgh?
Residents of The 'Burgh are treated daily to a city full of history, entertaining professional sports leagues, and cultural institutions. Home to educational institutions like Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh - plus cultural attractions including the Andy Warhol Museum - it's often ranked one of the country's most livable cities. So it's easy to see why dog owners love living in Pittsburgh. Plus, there are tons of dog-friendly green spaces and friendly Rover dog sitters and walkers throughout the city.
Which parks in Pittsburgh are good for dog walks?
Referred to as OLEAs, Pittsburgh has many Off-Leash Exercise Areas your dog to enjoy. Take Frick Park dog park on Squirrel Hill - it's a massive 644 acres for you and your dog to explore. There are separate fenced areas for running, lots of trails, and a swimming hole for dogs near Lower Tranquil Trail. Though not quite as large, Riverview Dog Park at Perry North is still a huge park to visit at 259 acres total, with two acres fenced off just for off-leash fun near the Allegheny Observatory. At Bernard Dog Run in Lawrenceville, you'll find a bustling half-acre park under the 40th Street Bridge. There are separate play areas for large and small dogs to keep pups safe and having fun with other dogs their own size. Dogs need to stay on leash at Point State Park, but that shouldn't stop you from spending a day walking its three main hiking trails. It's right downtown in the Golden Triangle, so you can't miss it!
What Pittsburgh neighborhoods are good for dog owners?
Pittsburgh has over 90 vibrant and unique neighborhoods, so deciding where to visit or even settle down can be a tough decision. From S&D Polish Deli to the Pennsylvania Macaroni Co., there are tons of interesting and eclectic shops and grocers in the Strip District, just east of downtown Pittsburgh. If you're looking for something a little more upscale, take your shopping over to the Shadyside area. You can get a dose of culture and intellectual discussion in Oakland, where you'll find the 53-story gothic building that houses the University of Pittsburgh's Cathedral of Learning. If you need a place to stay, check out the edgy, metroplication chic of the Ace Hotel or Indigo Hotel in the East Liberty neighborhood. Looking for a bite to eat? Head over to Pittsburgh's "Little Italy," Bloomfield. Take a bridge from downtown to discover North Shore and North Side, home to Heinz Field and PNC Park, and be sure to get a glimpse of the larger-than-life Mister Rogers' statue nearby. You can also take a nice stroll down the tree-lined streets of the charming Sewickley neighborhood, or catch an amazing view in Mt. Washington.
